Fair Heaven Missionary Baptist Church (FMBC), located on Juneburn Road (SC 14-40) in Clarendon County, South Carolina was founded in 1807 as a place for enslaved African American people to worship. After slavery was abolished, the community came together to erect a building for the sole purpose of educating their children. Thus, Fair Heaven became both a school, educating its students from preschool to the seventh grade, while also maintaining its duties as a church.
Today, Fair Heaven continues to serve as a place of Christian worship for people of all backgrounds.
We, at FMBC, believe in making Jesus known all over the world!
